Nottingham Cytogenetics Laboratory

Vacancy for a Fixed Term Part time MTO (Band 4) till end of September 2018

The post is funded for 25.5 hours per week (0.65wte)

The Cytogenetics department has a temporary vacancy for an MTO (band 4). The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a laboratory environment. Experience of using laboratory computer systems and of handling pathological samples and an interest in genetics would be an advantage.

The Nottingham Cytogenetics Laboratory is a UKAS accredited laboratory which provides a regional constitutional (including array-CGH) and malignancy service for a population in the region of 2.6million. We are based in a purpose built Genetics Centre shared with the Molecular Genetics and Clinical Genetics Services. The laboratory is based within the Nottingham University Hospitals trust at the City Hospital Campus.
