An exciting opportunity has arisen within Gynaecological services at Nottingham University Hospital trust for a 1st level registered nurse who is enthusiastic, motivated and caring and keen to develop their professional knowledge and ability.

Loxley is a 20 bedded Elective gynaecology ward situated in the maternity building at Nottingham City Hospital and A23 is a 16 bedded gynaecology emergency admissions ward situated at the Queens Medical Centre. As part of your on-going development we are  able to offer rotational posts between these two wards.

We are a forward thinking directorate and we pride ourselves on team work, the delivery of high standards of care and patient safety.

We have a caring and supportive team of nurses dedicated to the delivery of effective patient care. Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team are essential.

Personal and professional development is actively supported. There are numerous opportunities for nurses with a keen interest in the development of link nurse roles. We offer opportunities for professional development and will support staff to undertake further study.

You should be educated to 1st level RGN, have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to prioritise workload and work well as a member of the team. As a caring and positive person you will be committed to delivering high quality care whilst adhering to trust values and behaviours.
