Due to the current post-holder taking a career break, we have an excellent fixed-term opportunity for a highly skilled Data Warehouse Manager to join our team and to help us drive forward the Trust’s Data Warehousing strategy.

The successful candidate will be based at the City Hospital Campus, and will be expected to provide the day-to-day line-management as well as the technical leadership for the team; in addition, the role also encompasses a significant amount of hands-on involvement in all phases of the full development lifecycle for the Trust’s data warehousing and data migration projects.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and forward thinking individual who possesses expert technical knowledge of SQLServer, T-SQL, and SSIS, and who also has excellent proven mentoring and leadership skills. Experience of working within a Quality Management System (ISO9001:2008 or similar), and knowledge of the NHS and NHS data structures would be highly advantageous.

As the Data Warehouse Manager, your role will be key to the further development of individuals and the service, taking the departmental lead on projects, and supporting other ICT Services staff in the successful completion of ICT Services’ programme of work, including e.g. the delivery of the Paperless Hospital Programme.

Interviews for this post will be held in the latter half of March.
