CLINICAL FELLOW IN PAEDIATRIC RHEUMATOLOGY (MIDDLE GRADE)

Applications are invited for ST4+ Clinical Fellow post in Paediatric Rheumatology at Nottingham Children’s Hospital based at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, commencing as soon as possible for 6 months.

The position has become available because of career progression.

Nottingham Children’s Hospital is a busy teaching hospital.

The Paediatric Rheumatology service within the Nottingham Children's Hospital provides secondary and tertiary care for more than 2.25 million total population; 450,000 children and young people. One of the National Grid accredited training centres for Paediatric Rheumatology; we offer a comprehensive training programme which involves a good mixture of experience in outpatient and inpatient care, and procedures like intra-articular steroid injections. The successful candidate would work in a Multidisciplinary Team consisting of 3 consultants, one SHO, 3 specialist nurses, physio, OT, support worker and a medical PA. There is also ample opportunities for teaching, audit, research and publications.

This job does not come with Paediatric on-calls; but there may be opportunities for locum shifts in general paediatrics.
