An exiciting opportunity has arisen within the Renal Research Nursing team for a Band 2 Research Data Clerk.  This is an expanding friendly team which delivers renal and transplant clinical trials and research activity for the Trust.  This post will support the research nurses and research practitioner in their work in order to maximise recruitment to clinical trials.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with good attention to detail to join our team.  The individual will provide administrative and data management support for a range of research studies.  The post holder must be able to work well within a team, but also able to work independently.  They must have exemplary organisational abilities and be able to effectively prioritise their own workload.  Excellent IT skills are essential as much of the work will involve entering data into electronic data collection systems.  The post holder may be required to speak to patients and therefore must have excellent communication skills.  They may also be liaising with research study sponsors and therefore must be able to communicate effectively with a range of individuals.  The post may require travel to other locations where the renal transplant and unit offer clinical services and so access to transport would be an advantage.

Job share or part-time hours would be considered.

If you feel you would like to join our hardworking team, please contact Sarah Brand for a discussion or informal visit.
