There are exciting opportunities (Full and Part Time) to join our highly motivated, dynamic and hardworking team on Berman 2 Ward. If you are wanting to develop your nursing skills in this specialty and are a team player then this could be the job for you.

Our patients come to us from the Respiratory Assessment Unit which operates a 24/7 direct admissions service. We also accept patients from other admissions areas and step down patients from HDU. Our patients present with a wide range of respiratory conditions including COPD, asthma, lung cancer and pneumonia. We care for patients with varied clinical needs including those with chest drains, tracheostomies and NIV (Non-Invasive Ventilation) and those requiring end of life care.

We offer great opportunities to develop your nursing skills and abilities. Upon successful application the candidate can expect to undergo training on our excellent induction for new starters as well as ongoing education for all with regular Respiratory Education days. The successful nurse can also expect a significant supernumerary period working alongside a named preceptor and working with a clinical educator

If you are interested in joining our friendly and supportive team, you are welcome to make an appointment for a visit of the wards.
